About me

            My name is Zach Jiganti. I play tennis, and I am from Washington State. My family consists of my Mother and Father, and my two younger brothers Max and Kyle. I came to IMG last year and attended St. Stephens for the first semester. We weren’t allowed to play tennis in the morning with the better kids so I looked for other options. I decided to switch to Pendleton and have been here for about half a year so far. My favorite TV show is Lost. It’s the kind of show where you really get a lot more out of it if you have watched all the episodes, and there are many small details that you notice if you have seen previous episodes. Season four starts in January, so I’m really looking forward to it. My favorite movie is probably Inside Man. I liked the twist in the plot and I thought it was a neatly put together movie by Spike Lee.

            My favorite video game is Halo 2. I’m not quite as avid (nowhere near, actually) a halo fan as my roommate but I enjoy the game nonetheless. It’s one of the most popular shooters nowadays as will be the eagerly awaited Halo 3. In five years I hope to be completing college. I want to play tennis in college and find a career path that suits me well. I don’t know what I want to do for a living yet but I am hoping to have a good idea about it in college. In ten years I really don’t know what I will be doing. I think that it will have to do with what I decide to do for money, but right now I can’t be too sure. I hope to get into business potentially, two of my uncles are very successful stock brokers and could surely help me learn how to invest well. Something about me that you might be surprised to know is that I love to play poker, I have been playing for most of my life. My uncle’s brother (my dad’s sister’s husband’s brother) got 5th place in the World Series of Poker in 2000, and won over $250,000. He played poker professionally now and I have spent time with him in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. It’s a pretty big commitment to come here for all the obvious reasons, but also because I’m not allowed to play poker.
